Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many and what proportion of train stations have both automatic ticket barriers and staffed ticketing offices.

Of stations managed by DFT contracted Train Operating Companies, 57% have staffed ticket offices and we estimate that around 12% have automatic ticket barriers. These figures are based on the most up to date publicly available data.
