Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many Type 45 destroyers are in Portsmouth dockyards; and if he will make a statement.

All six Type 45 Destroyers are based in HM Naval Base Portsmouth. One is currently in refit, while the remaining five are in the operational cycle.
