Refugees: Climate Change

Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if she will make an assessment of the capacity of the UK to provide refuge for the number of climate refugees that her Department estimates will arrive in the UK in each of the next five years.

Climate change is not a criteria in the refugee convention, and therefore individuals would not be eligible for resettlement.
