Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to Future Soldier, what the unit establishment figures for the Army are.
This question was answered on 8th September 2023
Under Future Soldier, the British Army will have an overall, regular workforce of 73,000. It will structure its units with an appropriate number of personnel to meet its operational requirements. I am however withholding the workforce requirement of each unit of the Army as its disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the capability, effectiveness, or security of the Armed Forces.
