NHS England National Diabetes Audit core quarterly and annual dashboards will allow the assessment of changes in rates of complications over any periods of medicine shortages retrospectively, although attributing any such changes to any medicine shortages specifically to the level of diagnoses of diabetic foot disease and other associated illnesses is unlikely to be possible.
