Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, how much oil and gas was imported to the UK from Algeria in the last period for which figures are available.

In 2013, the UK imported 6,200 tonnes of crude oil from Algeria, and 4,500 GWh of gas. Total UK imports were 50,300 tonnes of crude oil and 525,000 GWh of gas. Data for 2013 are rounded to the nearest hundred and are provisional.
