The contractual requirements for all pharmacies delivering pharmaceutical services in the National Health Service are set out in Schedule 4, Terms of Service of NHS Pharmacists of the NHS (Pharmaceutical and Local Pharmaceutical) Regulations 2013. All contractors are legally required to adhere to these terms. Additionally, contractors operating Distance Selling Premises pharmacy are required to meet certain specific conditions including on availability of their services nationwide. It is for integrated care boards to take appropriate action in cases of non-compliance.
