Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, how much of the £8 billion of new guarantees to support housebuilding announced in Budget 2017 has been spent.

There is no expenditure under guarantees unless and until a guaranteed loan goes into default and a claim is made under the guarantee.
