Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, how much funding has been (a) allocated and (b) spent on the Green Deal cashback incentive scheme to date.

Up to £125 million was allocated to the Green Deal Cashback scheme and the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund (GDHIF).

At the end of May 2014* over £10m had been allocated to customers, of which £6.4m had been paid in Cashback payments following installation of 13,001 measures.

At the end of June 2014, the GDHIF had allocated £18 million.
