Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether it is Government policy to prevent an organisation's involvement in UK Critical National Infrastructure unless the Government receives a guarentee of that organisation's reliability and security.

Critical national infrastructure owners and operators are subject to a range of mandatory minimum reliability and security conditions. These are set out in sectoral and cross-cutting regulation and requirements across Government, and are enforced by regulatory bodies.
