War Pensions

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will bring forward proposals to amend the rules governing the War Pension Scheme to allow all war widows a pension for life.
This question was answered on 8th July 2014
Changes to the War Pension Scheme would need to be approved by HM Treasury and the Cabinet Office due to the wider impact upon public sector pensions.
