Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will publish all correspondence between his Department and (a) the Department for Energy and (b) the Scottish Office originating between July 1984 and January 1986 concerning applications for licences to drill for oil in the Firth of Clyde.

The Department does not hold any information relating to oil explorations in the Firth of Clyde.
