The Department does not collect data on when renewable project commences generation.

It does however collect data, through the Renewable Energy Planning Database (https://restats.decc.gov.uk/app/reporting/decc/monthlyextract ) on when renewable projects become fully operational and when they were consented.

In terms of the installed capacity, of those projects that became fully operational between May 2010 and May 2014, the figures are:

i) Consented before May 2010.
