Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to his Department's publication, Mobilising, Modernising and Transforming Defence: A Report on the Modernising Defence Programme, whether (a) headline findings of the 2015 Strategic Defence and Security Review have been preserved and (b) Force 2025 remains on track.
This question was answered on 7th January 2019
The fundamentals of the 2015 Strategic Defence and Security Review remain right. The Modernising Defence Programme is about adapting how we pursue our established strategy in response to the more complex challenges that we now face. Joint Force 2025 remains on track.
