Missing Persons: Guardianship

Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, when he plans to launch his consultation on guardianship for missing people.
This question was answered on 17th July 2014
The date for the publication of the proposed consultation paper on the possible creation of a status of guardian of the property and affairs of missing persons has not yet been set but it remains the Government's intention to publish the paper before the end of August (see my Written Ministerial Statement of 8 April 2014 (House of Commons Official Record 8 April 2014 col 8WS)).
