Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many claims have been submitted to the War Pensions Scheme in each year since 2010.

The total number of claims submitted under the War Pensions Scheme in each year since 2010 are;
2010-11 – 24,345
2011-12 – 22,520
2012-13 – 21,865
2013-14 – 21,460
In line with Defence statistics rounding policy all figures have been rounded to the nearest 5.
