The Armed Forces Pension Scheme is an occupational pension scheme. Payments are made using calculations based on a Service person’s salary and number of years service.

It would give a false impression to give an answer based on a mathematical calculation of dividing the annual expenditure by the number of Pension members. It is therefore not appropriate to provide an average individual pay out and individual financial settlement.
