Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many midwives there were in training in each of the last five years.
This question was answered on 16th January 2019
The total number of student midwives in March of each academic year between 2014/15 and 2016/17 are shown in the following table. More recent data is not available.
