Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many applications for Education, Health and Care plans were made to each local authority in each of the last three years.

The number of initial requests that were made for assessment for an Education Health Care plan is provided by local authority for the calendar years 2016 and 2017 is provided in the accompanying table. No comparable earlier data is available.
