Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, if there are any plans to widen the A65 which connects Cumbria and North Lancashire to Yorkshire.
This question was answered on 9th September 2014
The A65 runs from the M6 in Cumbria to Leeds in Yorkshire and is the responsibility of the five local authorities along its route. I am not aware that any of the local authorities have plans to widen the section of route that runs through their area.
