Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, who has been appointed to the role of Designate Anti-Slavery Commissioner, advertised in August 2014; and on the basis of what job description they were appointed.

The open competition to appoint a Designate Anti-slavery Commissioner is expected to conclude shortly, at which point an announcement will be made. The job description provided to candidates is attached.
