Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, if he will review the decision to move the BBC Tamil Service from London to Delhi; and if he will make a statement.

The decision to move BBC Tamil to Delhi is a matter for the BBC World Service, which is as the hon. Member will know editorially, managerially and financially independent from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
