Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether any use of military force against the Syrian Government would require a vote in the House before military action took place; and if he will make a statement.

The Government has no plans for a new Parliamentary vote on military action to prevent the use of chemical weapons in Syria. We continue to support appropriate actions with our US allies to prevent their use.
