Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether his Department maintains access to a supply of replacement gearboxes for the Type 23 Frigate.

Key components of the Type 23 Frigate gearbox, such as bearing, gears and wheels, are stockpiled in case replacements are required.
