Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many reports received by the Health and Safety Executive in 2024-25 relating to falling objects from scaffolding onto public highways resulted in a site inspection.

In 2024-25, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) carried out 67 site inspections relating to incidents involving falling objects from scaffolding onto public highways.
This comprised 23 inspections arising from concerns raised by members of the public and others, and 44 investigations following reports made under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 (RIDDOR).
