Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what screening procedures his Department undertakes in order to assess the suitability of any foreign military personnel to receive service training in the UK.

All UK Military and Defence Educational courses specify pre-course joining standards, including English Language ability, military and academic qualifications and medical and physical fitness. In addition, sending Countries are required to certify their students' suitability, security clearance and qualifications. All foreign military students are also required to comply with Home Office immigration and visa requirements
