The Home Department does not have any contracts with suppliers of services or consultants which include a clause providing that if the contract is abrogated by the Government, the provider or consultant will be compensated for lost income. No contracts have been identified which include a clause providing that if the contract is abrogated by the Government, the provider or consultant will be compensated for lost income since 2010.
All contractual liabilities require prior approval and Legal advisors agreement according to our processes. We do have contract conditions covering the right to terminate for convenience and these cover relevant costs. These are subject to limits and conditions.
