Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, if the Government will make it its policy to make funding for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund available at the same level as EU Structural Fund spending after the UK leaves the EU.

I met with the Metro Mayors on the 22 January and will carry on this engagement throughout the year.

We intend to consult shortly on the design of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Final decisions on UK Shared Prosperity Fund will be made during Spending Review.
