Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many NHS (a) trusts and (b) foundation trusts recorded a deficit in each of the last three years.
The number of National Health Service trusts and foundation trusts in deficit in the last three years is shown in the following table:
