Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what provisions his Department has put in place to allow research groups to access military records.

The public can gain access to Departmental information in three main ways: through access to information published under the Department's publication scheme; through scrutiny at The National Archives, following its release under the terms of the Public Records Act; or under the general access provisions of the Freedom of Information Act.
