Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, pursuant to the Answer of 18 November 2014 to Question 213482, what changes there have been in the number of security staff at (a) Crown courts and (b) magistrates' courts in each year since 2010.

The table below provides the number of security staff since 2010.

The amount of security staff required has decreased over the period, due to the reduction in the number of Crown and Magistrates’ courts.
