Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, if he will raise with his Maldivian counterpart the disappearance of Ahmed Rilwan Abdulla.

Our High Commissioner to Sri Lanka and the Maldives has raised the disappearance of Ahmed Rilwan with the Maldives government, most recently on 11 November. We understand that the investigation continues into Mr Rilwan’s disappearance, and we continue to monitor this case closely.
