Following our exit from the European Union, we are committed to maintaining a close and collaborative relationship with the EU. The Political Declaration set out that the UK and the EU will explore the possibility of cooperation of United Kingdom authorities with Union agencies such as the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), and the European Safety Agency (EASA).

Our future partnership is a matter for the next phase of negotiations, and so the exact form of this cooperation will be set out as part of those negotiations. We look forward to constructive discussions with the EU.
