No assessment has been made of the implications for public health policies of the National Energy Action report of February 2016 ‘Cold homes claiming needless lives and costing every local Health and Wellbeing Board in England over £27,000 each day’.

Public Health England is working with local authorities, the National Health Service, the Commission for Fuel Poverty and with other Government departments to try to address the health impacts of those living in fuel poverty and cold homes.
