On 13 April, the Government accepted advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) on phase two of the vaccination programme, to continue prioritising people by age. Those aged 18 years old are prioritised for a vaccination as part of phase two and were able to book their vaccination from 18 June. We have made no decisions on the routine COVID-19 vaccination of children aged 16 to 17 years old.
