Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, whether he plans to put contingency arrangements in place to ensure support for recipients of mitochondrial donation techniques in the event of failure or abnormal development in the resulting child.
This question was answered on 13th January 2015
There are already arrangements in place to support children born with conditions relating.
