Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what information her Department holds on the average length of time each police force has taken to return Disclosure and Barring Service checks since 2010.

The average number of days taken by each police force to return disclosure
checks is provided in the table below. The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
works closely with any forces which miss their service level agreements. The
DBS was established in December 2012. Data prior to this date relates to the
Criminal Records Bureau.
