Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what his Department's advertising budget was in each financial year from 2010-11 to 2014-15.

The department’s advertising budget is shown in the table below:

The advertising budget in 2014-15 was allocated for Restorative Justice and Family Mediation. Unlike a number of the issues we deal with, we felt these two campaigns would most benefit from a small amount of paid for social media and digital advertising activity.

The budgets shown above do not include spend on recruitment advertising as records are not held centrally.
