Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what his Department's timetable is for publishing its response to the consultation on Ending the retail sale of peat in horticulture in England and Wales, which closed on 18 March 2022.

We received over 5,600 responses to the consultation on ending the sale of peat and peat containing products in horticulture. Officials are currently reviewing the responses and accompanying evidence. We will publish our response shortly.
