To ask the Minister for Women and Equalities, what recent assessment she has made of the effectiveness of the Equality Act 2010.

The Government published the five-year review of the Equality Act 2010 in July 2015, through a Memorandum to the Women and Equalities Select Committee. We continue to keep the Equality Act 2010 under review, and, look forward to the contribution which the committee’s forthcoming report on Enforcing the Equality Act and the role of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, will make to this process.
