Claimants can verify their identity by one or more of the following:

  • GOV.UK Verify
  • documentary evidence
  • biographical test
  • biographical check
  • gather and confirm
  • know and recognise

If a claimant is unable to confirm their identity at a Jobcentre or using our Verify system, a home visit can be arranged.
