Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what the financial risks to his Department are if agreed projects carried out under the Eurotunnel obligations under the government settlement agreement overspend their allocated budget.

None. The Settlement Agreement is clear that there are no circumstances in which the sums paid to Eurotunnel will exceed £33 million.
