Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what the total cost to the public purse has been of converting local authority schools to academy schools in Wirral since 2010.

Over the last 9 financial years, the department has spent £1,138,671 on pre-opening start-up grants to support the conversion of local authority schools to academy schools in the Wirral. Further details are in the table below.
