Question to the Department for International Development:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, whether the Government has plans to reduce the proportion of the aid budget which is spent as contributions to multilateral organisations.

The proportion of our aid that is spent through bilateral programmes and multilateral organisations will be determined through the spending review and will be based on the most effective channels for delivering our objectives.
