Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what steps she is taking to progress the discussions on the expansion of visa-free travel between the UK and the EU from the end of 2022.

European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Swiss citizens do not require a visa to spend up to 180 days in the UK under the visitor route. There is also no visa requirement for British citizens visiting the Schengen area for a short stay (up to 90 days in any 180 days).
