Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, pursuant to the Answer of 24 October 2018 to Question 179252, how many Green Deal loan appeals relating to the company Home Energy & Lifestyle Management Ltd his Department has received; and how many of those appeals have been completed.

As at 10th April 2019, a total of 100 appeals relating specifically to the company Home Energy & Lifestyle Management Ltd (HELMS) have been referred to my rt. hon. Friend the Secretary of State. One of these cases has been finalised (and is not subject to further appeal). The Secretary of State has issued Intention Notices in respect of four further HELMS cases. These are subject to representations from interested parties prior to a final decision. Good progress is being made to complete a large number of complex cases and we expect further Intention Notices to be issued shortly.
