The former Minister for the Middle East and North Africa most recently had discussions with his counterpart during the UK-Kuwait Joint Steering Group in Kuwait in December 2018. As part of his discussions, and as a reflection upon our strong bilateral relationship, he spoke openly and honestly about a number of issues and that includes human rights.
