Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if he will revise his country policy and information notes on (a) Sudan and (b) Khartoum as a safe site for internal relocation following reports of violence by government forces against protestors.

We are monitoring the situation in Sudan. Should we consider that it has a material impact on our assessment of the situation, we will update the respective country policy and information notes. Where additional information is needed, decision makers can ask for bespoke research to be undertaken on a case by case basis or we would issue an interim summary of the situation.
