Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, with reference to the Written Statement of 13 March 2019, Spring Statement 2019, HCWS 1407, what level of energy efficiency the Future Homes Standard will be set at.
This question was answered on 29th April 2019
The Future Homes Standard will be implemented through an uplift to the Building Regulations, subject to consultation. We will expand on the technical detail of these proposals during the 2019 consultation on the energy efficiency requirements of the Building Regulations.
