Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many (a) people applied and (b) applications were received for places on midwifery training courses by the January deadline in each of the last five years.

The Department does not hold data on the number of applicants and applications to midwifery training courses. The information may be available from the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).
